Zūm, a leader in modern student transportation, has unveiled the 2024 results of its annual Student Transportation Report Card, offering a comprehensive look at parents’ views on the American school bus system. Conducted via the online survey platform Pollfish from June 26-27, 2024, the survey gathered responses from 1,500 American parents with school-aged children.
The survey results underscore a strong parental consensus on the need for improvements in the current school bus system. Notably, 84% of respondents believe the system requires significant enhancements, 81% are interested in using a mobile app to track their child’s bus location, and 64% prioritize the conversion of diesel school buses to electric.
